On December 22, a fire took everything from a family near Pouce Coupé, BC
In a single night, their home just outside Pouce Coupé, BC was completely destroyed.
A mother.
Her son.
His wife
And a two-year-old baby.
They had no insurance, no warning, and no time to save their belongings.
Everything was lost clothing, furniture, baby items, personal documents, and irreplaceable memories.
The loss did not stop there.
One of the family’s dogs tragically died inside a kennel during the fire. Another dog survived and is now in need of a safe foster or permanent home, along with support for care and rehoming.
The family woke up the next morning with nowhere to go and nothing to return to.
The baby no longer has a bed, toys, or warm clothes.
The adults lost the basic essentials needed to work, live, and begin again.
They urgently need help to get through the coming days.
Donations will be used for:
Temporary housing
Food and clothing
Baby supplies
Replacing essential household items
Care and rehoming support for the surviving dog
This fire happened just days before Christmas, making the loss even harder.
Recovery feels overwhelming when everything familiar is gone.
If you have ever imagined losing your home overnight, you understand how deep the shock runs.
Any donation helps. Any share matters.
Your kindness can give this family a path forward when they need it most.
