Emergency Support for Mum& Kids After Life-Altering Accident

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We're reaching out today on behalf of our friends whose lives were turned upside down in an instant. Mark, a hard working and loving father of two beautiful children, was involved in a horrific car crash on Friday the 9th of May. Only by a pure miracle he survived, and was brought by a helicopter to the hospital in a critical condition, where he fought for his life. Mark is now thankfully in recovery after a weekend full of surgeries and around the clock care by the wonderful team at the Royal North shore hospital.

This unimaginable event has left his wife, Moni, to shoulder everything alone — work, caring for their two young children (aged 3 and 1 years old), navigating the overwhelming emotional toll, and trying to stay afloat financially while also caring for her husband in hospital. As anyone can imagine, the days and weeks following such a traumatic accident are filled with uncertainty, fear, and countless challenges.

Right now, they need help to get through the immediate weeks ahead. While insurance and income support will eventually come through, it takes time — and unfortunately, bills, groceries, and daily life don’t pause during such a crisis.

We’re asking for your support to help cover the essential costs:
