The Genasys Family has come together to support our dear colleague, Ian Cayanan, and his family, who have faced the brunt of the recent flood devastation in San Diego. Ian, our dedicated Production Planner of over 15 years, needs our help. He, along with his wife Carolina, and their two beautiful daughters, Ashley and Aaliyah, have been displaced from their home due to the catastrophic flooding.

Imagine your ring doorbell going off while at work & it's a police office telling you your house is flooded. This is the harsh reality that Ian and his family are grappling with. Their residence was engulfed as a nearby creek overflowed, and the city's storm drains couldn't withstand the relentless rain. The scale of damage from Monday's historic rainfall is beyond imagination for Ian, his family, and countless others affected by this natural disaster. Firefighters and lifeguards heroically rescued hundreds of families from homes in the area.

As the city declares a state of emergency, Ian and his family, like many others, are waiting for aid and relief funds. Meanwhile, they face overwhelming costs to start rebuilding their lives.
