My name is Jessica Deiparine-Whitby, a registered nurse residing in Australia, originally from Brgy. San Isidro, Talisay City, Cebu — my beloved hometown.

I am raising funds to provide emergency relief for the victims of Typhoon Tino, which has left many families in my hometown devastated.

I don’t usually ask for help, but my relatives, neighbours, and friends in Brgy. San Isidro, Talisay City have been severely affected by this typhoon. Many of them were still trying to recover from the trauma caused by the recent earthquake, and now their homes have been damaged or completely destroyed. They are left struggling without clean water, food, and basic necessities.

I can only do so much on my own, and we need your help to support them as they try to rebuild their lives. Any contribution, big or small, can make a huge difference. Australian dollars go a long way in the Philippines, helping to provide:

• Food and rice for families who lost everything

• Clean drinking water for communities whose water sources are contaminated

• Clothing and hygiene essentials for daily survival

• Temporary shelter supplies for those whose homes were destroyed
