Help Families in Toamasina Recover After Cyclone Gezani.

I’ve been through storms and disasters before, and I know what it feels like: the fear, the uncertainty, the helplessness. It’s a nightmare no one should have to live through.

On February 10, Cyclone Gezani hit Toamasina hard. Homes flooded, roofs destroyed, streets damaged, and many families lost almost everything. Children are especially vulnerable: schools closed, clean water scarce, health services overwhelmed.

I’m lucky to be in BC, Canada, away from the storm, but my family and friends are still in Toamasina. Hearing their updates is heartbreaking. I want to do more than just worry. I want to help.
