In November 2025, severe floods and landslides swept across Sri Lanka, devastating communities in the midlands and central regions. Rivers overflowed, roads and bridges were destroyed, and thousands of homes were damaged or completely washed away.

The Human Impact

Over 130 people have tragically lost their lives so far, and sadly, the number may continue to rise.

Dozens are still missing, as rescue operations continue.

Tens of thousands of families — roughly 78,000 people — have been displaced, with many losing their homes entirely or suffering severe damage.

Why Your Help Matters

Families are in urgent need of assistance to survive today and rebuild for tomorrow. Your donation will support relief work to provide:

Emergency aid: food, clean water, medical supplies, blankets, and temporary shelter

Livelihood support: farming tools, small business assistance, and emergency financial aid to help families restart their income

Infrastructure repair: rebuilding water pipelines, community toilets, and basic sanitation to ensure health and safety

Your Impact

Every donation can help families survive the immediate crisis and start rebuilding their lives. By contributing, you’re helping:

Families stay safe, fed, and healthy

Communities regain dignity and hope

Vulnerable families restart livelihoods and rebuild sustainable futures

Please support the people of Sri Lanka in this critical time. Every contribution — big or small — makes a real difference in helping families survive, recover, and rebuild.

⏰ The fundraiser will be open until December 31, 2025, so every contribution before then will make a difference.
