Many of you may have seen the heartbreaking news on the community page last night about the house fire in our community. I wanted to share that the home affected belongs to one of our football players who is heading into his senior year.

Tragically, their house was a total loss. They left with only the clothes on their backs and a few donated items from neighbors to get through the weekend. Understandably, this family is facing an incredibly difficult time as they try to rebuild and prepare for the school year- both his senior year and his mom as a teacher.

At this time, they have requested gift cards, so they can quickly purchase essential items and necessities—as she returns to work and he begins his senior year next week.

Every little bit helps and will make a meaningful difference for this family as they begin to recover
