We are running out of time, and people are running out of options.
❤️⛺️
Right now, people in our communities are sleeping outside in freezing conditions. And because camping is illegal, they are also at risk of being ticketed, pushed out, or even jailed just for trying to survive the night.
That is not right.
I am not a preachy person, but I do believe this much. If God is watching how we treat each other, then this is a moment where we are supposed to step up.
That is exactly what this project is about.
The Emergency Mobile Shelter is a fully self-contained, solar-powered unit designed to give people a safe and legal place to sleep. It gets them out of the cold and out of danger of incarceration. It gives them a place where they are treated with dignity.
This unit will have six individual sleeper compartments. Each one includes a mat, heat, WiFi, and a device charger. Every compartment has its own hatch and window for privacy and airflow.
This is not a pile of cots. This is a structured, respectful system.
The trailer will also have a shower, chemical toilet, and trash system, and it will be cleaned and sanitized daily.
On the back end, there will be coffee, an air fryer, and a microwave. Small things that matter when someone is just trying to make it through the night.
Everything runs on solar power. No hookups. Completely self-contained.
This will operate like a hotel, with check-in and check-out times. And it will be completely free.
I have reached out for help. Churches have not responded. Larger organizations are not stepping in.
So I am doing what I can, with what I have.
We have already helped people get off the streets and into apartments. This is the next step. This is about saving lives when it matters most.
But I cannot do this alone.
We need funding. We need equipment. We need people willing to stand up and be part of the solution.
If you believe people deserve a safe place to sleep…
If you believe no one should freeze outside…
If you believe we are meant to look out for each other…
Then stand with us.
Donate what you can. Share this. Help make this real before next winter.
