Emergency Housing for Sarito Sun

Rev. Dr. Christina Tillotson and Ellaine Goldsmith, are raising emergency funds for housing for Sarito Sun.

Sarito Sun has spent her life helping and uplifting others with laughter, meditation, teaching and love.

For 0ver 40 years, she taught classes and brought laughter to thousands of people. She was a Laugholigist for the Chopra Center for 17 years and a frequent teacher at Seaside Center for Spiritual Living in Encinitas. Her laughter ministry reached people in many diverse groups, senior centers, churches, hospices, hospitals, shelters, prisons, companies, schools, retreats, and meditation centers across the country bringing healing to those with cancer, depression, Parkinson’s, heart disease, and anyone in need of joy and laughter. She trained others using laughter to spread joy in their communities, often offering her work for free. She's touched thousands of lives in her passion to spread happiness.

But when COVID hit, the Chopra Center and many places closed down and cancelled classes. Sarito lost her ministry and her livelihood.

Now at 82, she finds herself without a home.

We are raising $10,000 to help Sarito secure safe housing: a security deposit, first month’s rent, and basic living needs. This is a chance to give back to someone who has spent her life giving to others.
