Emergency: Help Safeguard My Family From Gaza's Devastation

I am Said Khalaf, a Palestinian from Gaza residing in Belgium as a student. I am urgently seeking assistance to evacuate my family from Palestine following the destruction of our home in Gaza. And after the loss of my father, and the severe injury sustained by my eldest brother, our lives have been irreparably shattered.

The immediate threat to their safety and the urgent medical needs of my mother, exacerbated by the current limitations on medical aid in Gaza, have compelled me to start a fundraiser. With 15 family members relying on me, I am their sole hope to escape Gaza to a safe place.

I have a well educated, successful family. My brothers and sisters had graduated with different bachelor degrees. Only the youngest two brothers still students and they can not continue their studies due to the horrible situation in Gaza and due to the destroying all universities there.

Please help me collect the application fees and travel costs for my family members.

At the beginning of the war, my family sought refuge by moving from the north to the south in search of a safe haven. Tragically, we later discovered that our house had been bombed, leaving us homeless. Presently, they are forced to share life in a tent with a large number of people, facing harsh weather conditions without proper clothing and lacking access to essential medications, resulting in frequent illnesses.

The dire situation has claimed the lives of many family members, with others missing under rubble, their fates unknown. Amidst this chaos, the estimated €6,000 will cover the crossing of the borders between Rafah and Egypt for every adult and will suffice to cover the basic needs of my family in Egypt, providing accommodation, food, and other essentials.

A total of €50,000 is required to cover expenses associated with obtaining permits to leave Gaza and crossing fees at Rafah, the Egypt-Gaza border. This amount is crucial for the safe passage of my family.

Any donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference to the safety of my family. We'll use the money raised in a transparent and efficient way to make sure every dollar goes to keeping them safe.
