Who We Are

Hello, my name is Tazul. My wife and I moved to London with our two young children to build a better future. I came here to complete my studies, and we are now living on a Post Study Work (PSW) visa. With no family here and limited resources, we’ve been working hard — both of us full-time — just to manage our living expenses and raise our children.

What Happened

On the morning of 1st August 2025, everything changed.

My wife had just started her shift at work when she suddenly felt unwell. I got a call from her manager asking whether they should send her home or to the hospital. I told them to take her straight to A&E.

She was taken to St. Thomas’ Hospital in London where, after a CT scan, the doctors discovered she had suffered a brain stroke caused by a ruptured aneurysm. She was quickly transferred to King’s College Hospital, where she underwent emergency surgery on the same day. Doctors successfully inserted a coil in her brain to stop the bleeding. She will now require at least two weeks of hospital observation, followed by a long recovery period at home.

Unfortunately, doctors also found another aneurysm in her brain, which will need to be treated after she recovers from this first surgery.

Why We Need Help

Right now, our family is in crisis. We have no source of income — I cannot leave my wife during this critical time, and she will not be able to return to work for a long while. On top of that, due to visa restrictions, we are not eligible for public funds or government financial support.
