Right now, this young family is facing something no new parents should have to go through.
With almost no warning, they were evicted from their apartment and given just one day to figure out where to go. With a newborn baby depending on them, they had no choice but to move into a hotel just to have a safe place to sleep.
They’ve been doing everything they can to stay afloat, but the situation has become overwhelming. Lucas is currently waiting on paid leave that hasn’t come through yet and isn’t expected until at least next 2 weeks. Until then, they have no stable way to cover their basic needs.
They’ve reached out to shelters both locally and in surrounding counties, but every single one is full.
As of now, they are about to run out of time again. Hotel costs are between $500–$600 a week, and without help, they risk having nowhere to go; with a newborn baby.
On top of trying to keep a roof over their heads, they are also struggling to afford food, baby necessities, and transportation to work
This isn’t about anything extra , it’s about keeping a family safe, together, and off the streets during an emergency.
Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward giving them a place to stay and helping them get through this until they can get back on their feet.
If you can’t donate, sharing this would mean just as much.
Thank you for taking the time to read their story and for any support you can give.
