Emergency funds for Tom

Hello, my name is Essie daughter in law to Tom and I have put together this fundraiser, to raise critical funds needed to provide emergency air transportation across the United States for my father in law ,who is a devoted husband, father and beloved grandpa.

He is currently on hemodialysis and they have placed him on palliative care after being diagnosed with a bladder mass, lung cancer, and lesions on his spine.

He is currently in a hospital in California, but cannot be released, unless it is to a skilled nursing facility or his family, which his only son Jakob (my husband) lives in West Virginia. While the medical team is doing a great job caring for him he needs to be with his family . He has always been the caretaker and now needs us to care for him . We are able to transfer all his medical care to the VA where we live , since he is a retired veteran. One of the biggest issues is getting him here in a timely manner. He can only travel on certain days because of his dialysis. We love him so very much and would be forever thankful for the help we are given . We have to buy a transport chair along with other medical equipment, that insurance does not cover along with his flight . Thank you so much for reading and sharing .
