Help LGBTQ Refugees in Uganda Survive and Thrive

In Uganda, being LGBTQ is not just difficult—it’s life-threatening. With the passage of the Anti-Homosexuality Act, our community faces daily violence, arrest, and discrimination. The situation has worsened as international funding for LGBTQ support programs has been withdrawn, leaving vulnerable individuals without access to shelter, healthcare, and life-saving HIV medication.

I am raising funds to support Children of the Sun Foundation (COSF) Uganda, an organization dedicated to protecting LGBTQ Ugandans. COSF has provided shelter, medical care, and economic empowerment programs, but due to funding cuts and government crackdowns, they are struggling to continue their work.

• Emergency Shelter: Many LGBTQ individuals have been evicted from their homes and are in hiding. Your donation will help provide safe housing.

• HIV Medication & Healthcare: Clinics that once provided free ARVs have closed. Funds will help secure medication for those in urgent need.

• Food & Basic Needs: Many have lost jobs due to discrimination and have no means of survival. Your support can provide meals and essentials.

• Legal & Security Support: With increasing arrests and attacks, funds will help cover legal aid and safe relocation for those in immediate danger.
