Emergency Fund for Emily and Ezra: Rent, Phone, Hope

Hi, my name is Philip Mariano, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of someone I love dearly—Emily, a devoted single mom doing her best to care for her little boy, Ezra.

Right now, Emily is in a critical situation. She’s days away from losing phone service—which would mean no way to communicate about her son. Her car insurance is also at risk of being canceled, and she’s behind on rent for both June and July.

She’s doing everything she can, but the weight is too heavy to carry alone. Emily doesn’t have support from her family. Her mom is tapped out financially and emotionally, and her dad is unable to help due to addiction. She feels completely helpless.

I’m asking for help to raise $2,300 to cover:

• $1,000 to catch up on June’s overdue rent

• $1,300 for July, due next week
