I struggled with the decision to start this fund and even had some resistance from my son Adam because our family is not used to needing or asking for help. In the early morning hours of the 23rd, my son's Fabrication business caught on fire and was a complete loss in the main shop which is where the bulk of his tools and machines were located. His story is one of extraordinary success - and I say this not just because he is my son but because of the effort he has put in to this endeavor over the years and the amazing young man he has become. For those of you who know me, who know Adam, or maybe both of our stories - you know how hard this is to do and how devastating this is. A lot of hard lessons have been learned and maybe the hardest lesson of all has been humility. This disaster not only affects him but his employees who have become like family.
