FINANCIALLY STRUGGLING FATHER of 4 children (ages 13, 10, 5, and 3) and local union laborer-362 at significant loss right now. I had an unexpected severe injury occur, requiring spinal lumbar and spinal fusion surgery due to a herniated disc. I am Battling for workman's comp benefits (weekly), which I have not received since July 19th due to the insurance adjuster's disagreement.
I owe $1450 in back rent, $460 for the electric bill, $225 for the water bill, $0 for groceries, $162 for the phone bill (disconnected), $653 for the credit card bill, $1092 for the overdraft bank statement, and other bills (WiFi, car notes) (documentation to prove). I truly am in a hardship as of now and also confined to a walker and under doctor's orders! I've tried everything: annuity hardship withdrawal, short-term disability, loans, etc. Until I see an arbitration committee and reach a ruling by a judge, I'm at a tragic and devastating point in my life right now in fear of utilities being shut off and on the verge of being homeless. THIS IS TRULY MY LAST RESORT—anything helps day to day, minute to minute, hour to hour. God bless everyone. I've included legal documents to prove it. I've never imagined this coming, but I'm trying to do with what God himself will bless and provide for me and my family. The Lord has worked in all sorts of ways. I just hope to make it through this with my family, and the support received will truly help and will be appreciated not only by me but by them as well!
