Emergency childcare cost for Amelia
Donation protected
My husband Darren has been the full-time stay at home parent for our youngest daughter since she was born. I had to go back to full-time work shortly after she was born, because sadly during my pregnancy with Amelia, Darren was made redundant from his job of 29 years due to restructuring.
Darren was diagnosed with myastheia gravis and is currently in crisis, in the critical care unit at Margate, on a ventilator.
I need to continue to work full-time to ensure we pay all our bills including the mortgage. So I’ve had to find childcare for Amelia.
She is entitled to some free hours of childcare the month after she turns 3 years old. However, for the month of March I have to pay the full cost. That is £750.00 for 30 hours of childcare.
Unfortunately, we are already overdrawn on our current account and I am really worried about how we are going to pay for the childcare, so I am reaching out to you this way, something I never thought I would ever have to do!
Thank you for taking the time to view this and thank you in advance for any financial help you can provide towards Amelia’s childcare costs.
