June 14, 2025 started out to be a beautiful day my daughter was getting married and she was 26 weeks pregnant she was going to have her fairytale. The wedding went fantastic she looked beautiful and everyone enjoyed the day. Around 6 pm my daughter started complaining of pain in her lower abdomen we had her lay down and try to drink fluids, the pain didn't go away so the decision was made to rush her to the hospital. At the hospital they realized she was in labor and after ultrasounds they found that the placenta had detached from the uterus and abrupted and she had a blood clot that was growing rapidly. Within minutes it had grown an extra 10 cm. They rushed her into an emergency c-section and baby was born weighing 2lbs 3oz. She was transported by plane to Omaha where she currently is. She has a grade 4 brain bleed on her left side and a grade 2 brain bleed on her right side (grade 4 being the worst). She also has a little bit of bleeding in her lungs and her lungs are not developed. She will be in the hospital for atleast 3 months possibly longer. Baby is having her ups and downs right now and is still in critical condition. In the meantime my daughter and son in law will need help, as much help as possible and prayers!
