My name is Jordan and I am setting up this fundraiser to help a good friend of mine - Andry Hernandez Romero. I’m organizing this fundraiser from the United States to help Andry, the Venezuelan makeup artist who came to the US to seek asylum only to be sent by the Trump administration to be tortured at the notorious CECOT prison in El Salvador. Andry has now been forced to flee his home country once again to seek safety and asylum protection in Spain and is currently facing urgent financial needs as a result. Being forced to seek safety and start over again after all he has endured creates financial strain that he cannot manage alone, and my goal is simply to help provide stability and relief while he navigates this difficult period.

All funds from this campaign will be withdrawn directly by a verified beneficiary in Spain, following GoFundMe’s requirements for identity and bank verification. I will not handle or withdraw any of the funds myself.

Your help, whether through donating or sharing, makes a real difference. Thank you for supporting Andry!

About Andry:
In late 2024, Andry fled his home seeking safety and stability due to persecution in his native Venezuela. He was detained in the United States for several months under harsh conditions and then transferred to El Salvador’s CECOT mega-prison, a notorious prison known for human rights violations. During his captivity, he suffered severe physical, psychological, and emotional harm.
After 125 days, Andry was finally released and reunited with his family in Venezuela. But shortly after, he was forced to flee once again in search of safety. He is now safe, but he faces a long road to recovery. He needs support for essential expenses and basic living needs as he rebuilds his life after prolonged trauma. Andry has shown immense strength and continues to see life through a positive perspective. Please help us support him so he can continue rebuilding his life.
Every contribution is strictly limited to personal support and essential needs, such as temporary housing, food, transportation, and other necessities to keep him afloat. Nothing here connected to any organization; this is purely personal support for someone who has gone through multiple challenging experiences in the last two years. No part of this fundraiser involves political activity, organizational fundraising, legal fees, advocacy, or any restricted purpose under U.S. or international regulations. It is solely to help Andry recover and find stability through emergency financial support.
