Hello, my name is Atta Al-Mashoukhi, and I am a father from Rafah, Gaza.
I am writing this on behalf of my 3-year-old son, Yaman Al-Mashoukhi, and our small family, who are struggling to survive one of the darkest times in our lives.
Over the past thirteen months, we’ve endured unimaginable suffering. We have been forcibly displaced seven times, fleeing from one area to another in search of safety. Our home in Rafah was completely destroyed. We lost everything — our shelter, belongings, and any sense of stability.
Today, we live in a tent in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, facing severe hunger, fear, and constant danger.
Our family consists of:
• Myself: Atta Al-Mashoukhi (father)
• My wife: Alaa Al-Bouji
• My son: Yaman Al-Mashoukhi (3 years old)
• My baby son: Ezz Eldeen Al-Mashoukhi
The war has taken away my son’s childhood. He has witnessed horrifying scenes that no child should ever see. Like every father, my only wish is to see my children safe — to give them a chance at a future filled with peace, not fear.
We have no food, no clean water, no electricity, and no basic human needs. Every day is a battle for survival.
Our dream is to leave Gaza and seek refuge in a country where we can rebuild our lives, find safety, and offer our children a chance to grow up with dignity and hope.
I am humbly asking for your support. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to safety, stability, and a new beginning.
From the depths of my heart — thank you for reading, for caring, and for standing with us. Your help means more than words can express.
Together, we can turn this story of loss into a journey of resilience and hope.
