HELP MY FAMILY ESCAPE GAZA
Donation protected

I hope this request finds you and your family in good health and blessings. My name is Adham Elmadhoun and this heartfelt emergency plea is to help my wife's family escape the horrendous war in Gaza and cross over to Egypt via the Rafah Border. Since the beginning of the war on October 7th, 2023, this has been an unimaginable nightmare for my wife and I. My wife's family have not had the privilege of sustaining sanity nor a sense of security since the beginning of this conflict. They have witnessed the atrocious bombardment of their neighborhood, and their house has been destroyed from missile airstrikes while they were taking shelter inside. After being pulled from under the rubble, they have managed to escape death in numerous other occasions. They managed to flee central Gaza to the southern areas with my disabled father-in-law in a wheelchair, my mother-in-law who suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure and 2 young children. Their search of safety and has displaced them to multiple houses, schools, hospitals and shelters. Even after evacuating to the south, it has been extremely challenging due to airstrike missiles, tank artillery shells and living in the unknown. The basic necessities such as water, food and medicine have been scarce to acquire. Every day is a struggle to try and communicate with them and just hear their voice in the morning to ensure they are still alive and well. After multiple attempts of escaping death, on October 27th, 2023, my father in-law, Refaat Aburamadan, lost his life due to an airstrike in the residence in which they were staying while the remaining family members were spared their lives from under the rubble.
Please take a moment to meet my wife's family below:

- A reliable pilar to his household for all support.
Salma & Hazem Abujabal (Sister-in-law and husband)
- Parents of 2 beautiful kids. (Razan & Omar)
- Hazem is a craftsman in carpentry and helps out his community wherever needed.
- They raise their kids to a high standard with respecting one another and adopting peace and love in their hearts.

Razan Abujabal (12 years old)
- Loves to cook and is an aspiring chef.
- An intellectual in school. Loves to read, learn different languages and always has a creative idea.
- Has an infectious smile to make any situation positive.

Omar Abujabal (8 years old)
- Very ambitious and always dreams big.
- Loves soccer, animals, swimming and has a different joke every day.
- Love to sing and dance.

I am an American citizen and have been here for most of my journey. My deepest concern is with everyone that has been affected by this conflict and this increase of awareness should shine light on daily struggles we normally can't comprehend. My wife Hanan has lived in Gaza her entire life and has seen the devastating outcomes of different conflicts.
This family is a true testament of bravery and faith. Through all the hardship they always find gratitude in what they have.
Funds will be used to:
- Help family members cross the Rafah Border to Egypt.
- Provide essentials such as water, food and medicine.
- Ensure accommodations for a safe place to shelter and sleep.
- Reestablish their lives from step one.
This approach in requesting assistance is something that is unfamiliar to my wife, Hanan and I. Being so distant from them, we have exalted every way to show support. Our emotional support remains consistent daily; however, they are drastically in need of financial support. This conflict has a taken a toll on millions of families across the globe and is a continued struggle to create peace and solidarity. The families in Gaza are no different than any other human on earth. They bleed just like we do, kids want to be kids and have goals in life just like any other kid without the fear of oppression and they ultimately just want peace in their daily lives. The barbaric treatments endured in Gaza has been eye opening worldwide and an appeal for humanitarian aid should be non-negotiable to simply save lives. It's a privilege for me to have this platform that will allow me to lend a helping hand to my wife's family in Gaza. I want to formally thank anyone who has heard my plea for assistance and know that your contributions are directly saving lives. Everyone's assistance does not go unnoticed no matter the amount and it is greatly appreciated. Please spread this campaign to as many channels as you can for those who would like to participate in helping out. Every day, minute and second truly counts.
May God bless every one of you and protect every soul in need of protection.
Thank you,
Sincerely
