Save Fucina: 10k Needed for Essential Community Support
Donation protected
Fucina XXIII is an inclusive community workshop dedicated to transforming lives through work and education. We welcome people who have been given up on by society: individuals with past traumas, complex diagnoses, broken paths. People who were told they had no future. At Fucina, they find a second chance.
We offer a space where they can slowly rebuild their identity, learn to trust again, and reclaim their dignity through work, discipline, and relationships that truly care.
However, due to urgent funding needs, we must raise €10,000 by the end of the year to continue our essential services. Without these funds, we will have to close our doors and lose the vital support that has already changed many many lives.
Every day, 7 days a week, our team of volunteers becomes far more than just support staff. At Fucina XXIII, we offer a range of services designed to provide stability and growth for our participants. These include:
Job Training:
- Packaging, assembly, labeling, and tailoring services
- Hands-on instruction by experienced mentors
Personal Development:
- Customized learning programs that build both practical skills and self-confidence
- Regular group sessions that foster peer support and community spirit
Daily tasks Support:
- Assistance with daily routines, from transportation to healthcare access
- Engagement in cultural and recreational activities to uplift spirits
Inside the workshop, we teach job skills.
Outside the workshop, we help rebuild lives.
We urgently need to raise €10,000 by December 31st. Without this, Fucina will be forced to shut down.
This would mean dozens of people currently supported will lose their only point of reference, their only chance to keep going.
What the money will cover:
- Rent for the workshop space
- Basic utilities and maintenance
- Essential materials and equipment
This isn’t about luxury — it’s about survival.
Not just of the project, but of the people in it.
Why Your Help Matters
Fucina XXIII has changed lives.
People who didn’t leave the house for years now wake up early and come to work with pride.
Young people who dropped out of school are back in class and on the path to independence.
Others, once considered “too difficult”, “hopeless”, now hold stable jobs and responsibilities.
All this is possible thanks to the tireless, unpaid work of our volunteers — and to the strength of the people who choose to believe in themselves again.
How You Can Help
- Donate – any amount helps, truly.

Let’s not let this light go out. Help us keep Fucina XXIII alive — not for us, but for them.
Thank you for reading, sharing, and standing by our side.
