Hello Friends and Family,

Emerald and Chris like to do things a little differently, like wear matching jumpsuits and head to the courthouse for an incognito wedding, that would obviously then be televised on local news.  Together for seven years now they have supported and loved one another through thick and thin. They inspire each other, they laugh together, they challenge one another, hold onto each other and overcome obstacles together. Now they begin a new and exciting journey into marriage as well as welcoming Etta, their baby girl into the world come May 13th! 

My name is Cheaven and I am one of Emerald’s big sisters. Something I observe about Emmy is that she likes to fly under the radar, avoid the spotlight and does not ask for help or much if anything at all. Emerald is an incredible, strong, and mesmerizing human who I love deeply and I want the world for her and her family. I also know I am joined in my love for Emerald and Chris by many who want to support their journey together. 

I am starting a GoFundme for Emerald, Chris and baby Etta to soften any stress during the arrival of their child which will help Emerald take time off work to recover and nurture Etta, aid in providing essentials for their baby, and finally to assist Emerald and Chris in buying a house that they can make a home for Etta and their family. 

Your support is so deeply appreciated and giving Emerald and Chris some financial stability is invaluable to their life and the life of their child. As a mental health professional I have seen and experienced the importance of providing a family and their child stability for healthy brain development and long term wellbeing.
