Our sweet, strong Alex has recently been diagnosed with leukemia, something our family is still processing and learning to navigate. As we begin this unexpected journey, we wanted to share openly with our community, because you have always been an important part of Alex’s life, and we know how many people care about him.

If you know Alex, you know his spirit - competitive, determined, and endlessly strong. Whether he’s on the field or in the classroom, he has always met every challenge head-on. Now he faces the toughest challenge of his life, but we have no doubt he will approach it with the same fierce heart and resilience that define him. He has already shown incredible bravery as he begins treatment, reminding us every day of the strength that lives within him.

We are holding onto faith, hope, and the unwavering belief that Alex will come out of this even stronger than before. Our family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support we have already received. This journey will be long, and there will be difficult days ahead, but knowing that we are surrounded by such a caring community brings us comfort and strength.
