On July 14, 2025, we completed the first Ember Bridge in the Ngäbe-Buglé region of Panama.
For generations, children crossed a river that becomes deadly during the rainy season. School stopped. Medical care became unreachable.
Lives were lost. Now, hundreds cross safely every single day.
But fourteen days later — on July 28 — a student from the neighboring community of Tibra-Trinchera drowned attempting a similar crossing.
That village has now asked for help.
They are committing their own labor. What they lack are materials, transport logistics, and engineering support to build a permanent pedestrian bridge in a remote jungle location.
We are raising $100,000 to build Ember Bridge #2. Just like Bridge #1:
- 100% of donations go directly to materials, local labor, and logistics
- No salaries
- No overhead profit
- We serve as volunteers and cover our own travel
This is not charity. It is life-saving infrastructure.
Bridge #2 will provide:
- Year-round access to school
- Emergency medical passage
- Flood-season safety
- Long-term community stability

Watch the story. See the results. Then help us build the next bridge before the next rainy season.
A child should not have to choose between education and survival.
