Emauni's Crew of Two

On Saturday, August 31, 2024 our family suffered the tragic loss of Emauni Rhyne to the senseless gun violence that plagues the streets of the City of Chicago.

Emauni’s life was just beginning to bloom at the young age of 24; before it was suddenly taken away. She was a daughter, sister, and a friend to many. She was also an amazing mother that was dedicated to raising her two beautiful children Harmauni (4), and Emir (2).

There is no other pain than having to explain to these babies that they’ll on have a memory of their mom by photo, video, or stories that will be told by her family. Aside from the emotional pain of not having Emauni in the physical presence - her children will be faced with both mental stress and a lifetime of trauma.

We’re asking for support not only to care for, but to aid Harmauni and Emir as they adjust to a world that many of us will never imagine. Support to us is beyond a donation. It’s a kind word/gester, a helping hand, or even a prayer.
