Support baby Austin

Baby Austin was diagnosed with bi- lateral plural effusion at 19 weeks gestation. His mommy's Doctor in Louisiana has sent the family to Texas Children's Hospital to give him the best possible chance at life throughout this pregnancy. Baby Austin has already had two procedures done at the hospital. His right lung has had the fluid drained twice, and a shunt has been placed in the left side of his chest to keep the fluid off of his left lung. Baby Austin's journey inside the womb is far from  over. He is approaching 21 weeks gestation, and the doctors have said this is just the beginning. They are just treating the symptoms because the cause of the problem is unknown. It is likely that the family will be making multiple trips to Houston for the remainder of the pregnancy and will probably deliver Baby Austin there so that he receives the best possible care at birth. Even with insurance, the family has accrued several thousand dollars in medical bills and travel expenses.
