On 21st June, Amy and I will be walking a large chunk of the Pilgrim's Way to raise money for Pilgrim's Hospice. Pilgrim's Hospice is East Kent’s largest hospice charity - they help people facing incurable illness to live well in every moment. They provide expert care and guidance, help to manage symptoms and support people to stay independent at home.

The route is 35km (approximately 21 miles) from Dover to Canterbury. We will begin at Connaught Park, set beneath the walls of Dover Castle, and follow an old Roman road that runs between Dover and Richborough, before passing Waldershare House. The route then leads through rolling fields to Womenswold, before passing the beautiful villages of Patrixbourne and Hode. Finally, we will catch a glimpse of Canterbury’s magnificent cathedral as we steam....or hobble(!!!!)......towards the finish line.

We reckon its going to take us about 8.5 /9 hours so we are going to need all the encouragement we can get!!!
