Dec '25 **WE HAVE NOW REACHED OUR TARGET FUNDRAISING AMOUNT OF £10,990 FOR ELLIS' ASSISTANCE DOG!!!**

Hi, my name is Lorraine and I'm fundraising for my 9yo daughter to help pay towards her Assistance Dog.

Ellis’ assistance dog will be trained specifically for Ellis to help mitigate many of her behaviours which will help her better live her life. Her Assistance Dog will also become her constant companion wherever she goes both inside and out of her home while also helping to keep Ellis safe. It is also Ellis' dream to have an assistance dog!

Earlier this year Ellis was accepted onto an assistance dog programme with an Assistance Dog Charity. We have already paid £4000 to the charity to enrol onto their programme.

We still have £10,990 left to pay to the Assistance Dog Charity when Ellis is successfully matched with one of their assistance dogs, this match happening in 2026. It is then that we have to pay the remaining balance to the charity to be able to continue with the programme.

Any help and support you can give for Ellis will help give our beautiful and talented artistic daughter, one of the best possible life supports for her life going forwards.

An assistance dog for Ellis will help improve her life and open up her world, which is currently extremely limited. Having an assistance dog will enable Ellis to more be able to leave the house, just go for a walk, access health and education services and other places in her local community that are so vitally important for her.

Additionally, a huge impact on Ellis has also been that in 2022 Ellis’ daddy Bob had a major health crisis, resulting in him being in a coma in ICU where Ellis didn’t know if her daddy was going to survive a severe bacterial meningitis infection. After a prolonged stay in hospital, Ellis' daddy made it back home. It has been an extremely difficult and continuing long recovery for our daughter.

Ellis’ assistance dog will also give Ellis the company, companionship and security that she so desperately needs to help her move forwards in her life and have a best assistance doggie friend :-)
