Ellie Mae’s Epilepsy Fight

Donation protected

If you have been following along with Ellie’s journey, you know, she has been diagnosed with partial epilepsy. As a young toddler, her seizures seemed minor but as her little body is growing, unfortunately her seizures are growing as well.

After several opinions from doctors and specialist, after fervent prayer, Maeghan and Stephen decided they wanted to go to the “best of the best” regarding Ellie’s health. So recently, they traveled to the Cleveland Clinic where they have determined the next step in Ellie’s treatment to rid her of her seizures for good.

Ellie Mae and her family will be traveling back to Cleveland on June 27. During this stay, she will be having a surgical brain procedure done, lasting for 8-10 days. This procedure is the preliminary to the [hopefully] final brain surgery that will more than likely be held a little later in the summer.

That being said, we understand that there will be a lot of costs going forward with travel, food expenses, and of course medical expenses. Therefore, we have set up this account for anyone wanting to help monetarily. Maeghan and Stephen do not enjoy asking for help, as most of us do not, but as brothers and sisters in Christ, this is a way we felt we were called to help.

If you are unable to give at this time, we absolutely understand. We are asking that more than anything else, that you PRAY. Pray for the doctors and nurses who will be treating Ellie Mae. Pray for safe travels. Pray for rest. Pray for peace for her family. Pray for her Mommy and Daddy as they are strong but ultimately terrified. And most of all, pray for the sweetest, spunkiest, silliest little girl I have ever known- Eleanor Mae.

We want to thank you on behalf of the family for caring, asking, praying and helping in any way. We believe in the Lord’s miracles and that Ellie Mae’s epilepsy journey will just be a small portion of a greater story to glorify Him.
