Saturday 24th May 2025 I will be taking the jump for Alzheimer’s Society skydive to support and raise money for Alzheimer’s society my grandad Jim Jones was diagnosed with dementia in 2018.
This has been a heart breaking journey but we are so lucky to have grandad healthy and happy no matter what has changed he is still his loving, kind and whitty self, that's what is important
Taking part in this jump will enable me to raise money for such a wonderful cause. One in 3 people in the UK get diagnosed with dementia, one of the cruellest diseases to get.
I have seen first hand how difficult it can be to see someone you love and care about suffer with dementia, my grandad has always been my idol growing up and still is.
I will be doing this for grandad and to raise money for a great cause. I hope he can come and watch me and I’m sure cheer me on. It would mean a lot to me if you can donate or support in any way.
More information about Alzheimer's Society: At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research. One in three people born in the UK today will develop dementia in their lifetime. We don’t want anyone to face the realities of dementia alone. That’s why your support is vital.
