Hi, I’m Ella – I’m 13, and I’ve been selected for a once-in-a-lifetime Girlguiding trip to Cambodia in summer 2027!

Alongside a group of Guides from across Cambridgeshire, I’ll spend two weeks volunteering at a local primary school in Cambodia. We’ll be helping younger children with their learning, brightening up classrooms with fresh paint, planting gardens, and creating a more welcoming space to learn and grow.

This isn’t a holiday – it’s a service trip. Every penny I raise will go directly towards the essentials: travel, kit, vaccinations, and project materials. That means I can give all my energy to supporting the children and the community we’re there to help.

To fund my place, I’ve launched Ella Bakes – selling homemade cookies, sweet cones, and treats at local events, to friends and family, and (very soon!) through my own website www.ella-bakes.co.uk
