Elkie Fyfe born at 24 weeks

Hi, my name is Dayna and I’m raising much needed funds for my brother, David and his partner, Tori.

Tori and David’s daughter Elkie was born prematurely at just 24 weeks gestation on the 26/10/2022 at 11.11pm, weighing 745g. Elkie will be in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), at King Edwards hospital until Feb 2023. As you can imagine, the next 4 months is going to be challenging to say the least.

David and Tori are both unable to work during this time as their priority is with Elkie in hospital. Elkie has since undergone 2 blood transfusions, a bleed on the brain, a haemorrhage in the lungs and issues with her little heart. David and Tori are beyond stressed. There isn’t a lot we can do to help them besides easing their financial burdens (living costs, travel from serpentine to King Edwards hospital daily, etc). I’m asking my family and friends to help where you can. As you can imagine, you just cannot plan for this, this road is going to be long and treacherous for this young family and any help navigating it would be SO appreciated.
