Elk Mills Poga Volunteer Fire Department
We would like to add another layer of protection to our fire department in the form of a fire boat. The short list of benefits to our area are: This boat will be equipped with mounted pump and deck gun and a portable floating pump. Boat will have first responder Med bag and AED. Will be able to fill tanker trucks closer to fires not on the lake. We have found the boat that fits all our needs and are currently in agreement with the owner on a purchase price. The main pump, floating pump, and  additional equipment is being supplied by Elk Mills-poga Fire Dept.  The boat will be stationed at Pioneer Landing Marina and Lakeshore Marina has agreed to do service on the boat. We will be doing fund raising events in the near future at Pioneer Landing and Elk Mills VFD.
