Dear family and friends,
On behalf of the Maldonado family we have created this go fund to support them during these hard times. Many of you might already know, our dear sister Elizabeth Maldonado is currently battling stage 4 cancer. It all started late November when Elizabeth went in for surgery and doctors discovered cancer in her appendix. She was diagnosed with Appendix and Colon cancer and underwent different surgeries to have the tumors removed. At this point the family wasn’t aware of how advanced the cancer had gotten. Unfortunately, the family have recently received news no one ever wants to hear, despite all efforts, Elizabeth was diagnosed with a terminal cancer called Malignant Ascitis. After undergoing many procedures and chemotherapy the doctors have said our dear sister doesn’t have much time left. Her husband Hector and the family have been supporting her in every posible way; therefore, Hector has been taking time off work to assist her and be at the hospital with her. This has caused an impact to his work. We have created this go fund with the purpose of covering Elizabeths medical bills and to support Hector so he doesn’t have that financial burden and can spend every moment with his dear wife.
A little bit about Elizabeth and the family:
Elizabeth is a caring, loving and selfless sister. She lights up any room with her laugh and her sense of humor. Among all her great qualities, her genuine love always stands out. The Maldonado family has the special ability to make you feel like part of their family. Inviting you on family road-trips, gatherings or just a simple movie night. For many of us Elizabeth is not only a friend but a motherly figure to confide in. Even though we’re not all related by blood, Hector and Elizabeth have always taken care of us and the time has come to take care of them while they’re going through the unimaginable.
We hope you can help us raise funds to support and most importantly we ask that you please keep the Maldonado family in your prayers.
