UPDATE - 14th Feb 2024

Elizabeth had her surgery performed at Alder Hey yesterday.

The operation went well & Elizabeth is now off the Ventilator and is recovering in Intensive Care ❤️

Elizabeth is just 16 months old & has recently been diagnosed with a very rare complex form of Congenital Heart Disease.

Elizabeth has been taken in as a patient by Alder Hey hospital where she will be having open heart surgery in just 2 weeks time.

Not only is this going to be a heartbreaking worrying time for her family, but this is just one of what could be many operations throughout her life.

I as a parent myself, cant even begin to imagine what Elizabeth’s parents are also going to be going through.

I want to not only raise awareness for Elizabeth, but to also raise money in aid of Alder Hey Children’s Charity.

They deserve the world & more for giving our younger generation a healthier & happier life.

On the 12th April 2024, I will be heading from Wigan at 12pm midnight to reach Snowdon around 2-3am

I will then set off up Mount Snowdon in hope to hit the Summit around 5.30am to see the sunrise.….Something that most of us take for granted…..a new day.

I did this last year also for a good reason, however I did it during the day, and as much as I enjoyed it ( well parts of it ) I swore I would NEVER EVER do this again.

But here I am….and I can’t think of any better reason to do this.
