Elijah's Medical Fundraiser

Hello everyone, my name is Xavier Escalera. I'm creating this for my brother Elijah Escalera who many of you know has been dealing with back pain for the last 3 years. On February 4, 2025 we were informed that he had a tumor in his spinal cord. He has been in the hospital since February 19th and has had 3 procedures to remove a vascular tumor called a Hemangioblastomia tumor. The doctors needed to remove this tumor as quickly as possible due to how much damage it was causing him with his ability to walk and day to day life. If they left the tumor in, it could have caused him to be a quadriplegic. On March 12th they performed the tumor removal surgery and were able to remove the entire tumor. On March 31st, we were informed that Elijah is a paraplegic from his chest down. I am trying to ease some of the financial burden from our parents. The money that is donated will cover any medical expenses for medical equipment that aren't covered by insurance.
