My name is Elijah Galarza, and I am a Life Scout with Boy Scout Troop 388 in Lomita,

California. I am raising money to fund my Eagle Service Project. An Eagle Service Project is an opportunity for me to demonstrate leadership of others while performing a project to benefit my community. My project will take place at the Southern California Live Steamers train facility at Wilson Park. This train club gives children and adults free train rides each month. The goal of my project is to clear an area of land where the train passes through. This area has become overgrown by weeds, unkept plants and pine needles from a large tree that hangs above it. The goal is to clear out all the weeds, pine needles, trash and debris, lay and stake down gardening felt, cover the felt with mulch, install a border, outline the perimeter with decorative rocks and add some new plants. This project will visually improve the path the train travels on and make the experience better for the riders.

My hope is that you graciously might be willing to make a donation towards my Eagle Project. 100% of the money raised will be used to support the project with any remaining balance being given to the project beneficiary.
