Elijah's Battle: Overcoming Glioblastoma

Donation protected
Hi. My name is Leah. I have set up this page on behalf of my youngest brother, Elijah.

Elijah is 22 years young and lives in the Philippines with my two other brothers. He is currently in his last year of college to pursue his dream of becoming a nurse. Earlier this year, he became unwell and was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which he fought so hard to overcome. Despite all the doctor's appointments and medications, nothing seemed to be working. After months of misdiagnosis, he was finally given a request for a CT scan where they found a huge mass in his brain. At this point, he is already at stage 3-4 Glioblastoma (a fast-growing and aggressive brain tumor).

Elijah is preparing for surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. Unfortunately, medical insurance is not a thing in the Philippines, and most treatments need to be paid upfront.

With a heavy heart, our family is reaching out to your hearts for prayers of healing and comfort. We are also asking for donations to help Elijah cover and support some of his medical expenses. Any help given will help us ease some burdens as we fight this disease with my brother.

We consider ourselves very lucky to still have him with us, with hopes of having him longer and being given the chance to make his life as comfortable as possible throughout his treatments.

We thank everyone for the love and support.

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4
