Elif Nefes was born as severly effected baby because of severe HIE (Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy) which basically means serious brain damage due to lack of oxygen during/before delivery.

She has got 16 different diagnoses like severe HIE, hypertonia, breathing difficulties mandating a tracheotomy, hypotnia low muscle control/tones, absent gag reflex, feeding difficulties mandating a gastronomy tube, epilepsy and seizure/posturing/stiffed, dysphagia, profound developmental delay, no tracking and head control etc.

Elif Nefes isn’t  covered by insurance for a while and  since  we have to go to ER frequently medical bills and monthly supplies cause serious problem in our financial status. We had taken care of a significant amount of them yet we have still some part of it to pay.
