My name is Husam Alserr.

I am writing this while I am outside Gaza, but my entire family is still trapped inside.

Until today, they are still living in a tent after losing everything. There is no real stability, no secure shelter, and no steady way to live.

We are 11 people — children, parents, and elderly — trying to survive day by day in very difficult conditions.

Some food and water are available through aid, but it is not enough to live a stable life. There is no regular income, no jobs, and no way to provide for daily needs.

Life now is not only about survival — it is about uncertainty every single day.

Even when basic supplies are found, other essential needs remain: clothing, medicine, shelter, and simple daily expenses.

The children are growing up in these harsh conditions,

and the adults are doing everything they can just to keep going.

My mother still manages whatever food is available, trying to make it enough for everyone. But without income, every day feels heavier than the one before.

And I am still far away, watching, unable to truly help them the way they need.

The suffering now is quiet, but constant.

Not just fear — but exhaustion, instability, and no clear future.
