Elena Sturm is a bright light in my own, and so many other's, life. She's able to connect with every person she meets, and is so loved by all that have the privilege of knowing her. As a transgender woman, she's finally reached a point of stability where she can undergo Facial Feminization Surgery on November 10th, 2025. She has overcome so many obstacles, and has faced so much adversity alongside the support of her friends and loved ones.

From facing homelessness to finally being able to purse her Masters degree, her journey has been one of resilience in the face of struggle. While she will be working overtime up until her surgery date, any community assistance during this period will be vital to help her prepare to heal. She works so hard, all while applying to graduate programs, with the long term intent of giving back to her own queer community. Additionally, Elena is currently in the incredibly stressful process of moving apartments throughout the month of September, which only furthers the financial strain. Any financial help over her 2-month long healing period will assist taking the pressure off of her, her partner and her amazing support system.

All of us are so proud and excited for Elena to take this next step in her transition, surrounded by nothing but love and support. Any and all funds will go directly towards unexpected costs, medical supplies, groceries and toiletries.
