Elderly Community Pantry

Hi, my name is Julia. I live in a community where most tenants are 60 and older. There are about 130 units in this community. I've noticed by mid-month, many are short or without food and other essential home goods. The cost of food and other essential items constantly increasing has made the situation even worst. I helped as much as I could on my own, but, the need is greater than what I can do. Many aren't able to get out and travel around to different locations to find food. So an on-site pantry would help a great deal.

I'm asking for help to set up a pantry in the community so they will have access to some basic food and household items to carry them through the month. The plan is to have a once-a-month pantry day on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.

Any assistance you can provide financially or even donation of household stuff such as; bathroom tissue, paper towels, dish detergent, lotions, bath wash, laundry detergent, and personal hygiene items. Dry food products are accepted as well. NO fresh goods or meats CAN NOT be accepted. No expired items are accepted.
