Good Day World,
On the morning of 1/23/2025, Elaine Hopkins' (Mother of 3, Grandmother of 9, and Great Grandmother of 1) house was heavily damaged due to a fire. With only the PJs on her back, cell phone, purse, and car keys, she safely made it out of the home. Ecstatic that our mother made it out safe and we still have her with us today, we are still saddened that she lost everything!
After purchasing her home 25 years ago, she sat in her car watching her dream home literally going up in flames. She is a strong, proud woman and at the age of 67 years old, she would never look for assistance from anyone on her own. So, as her children, my brother, sister, and I are reaching out on her behalf.
As she was getting set for retirement, at 67 she still was able to smile and tell me that she is ok and that everything will be alright. Smiling back at her, I had to believe her, because I know she also believes it herself.
Mom would appreciate any assistance as well as prayers.
Thank you for taking the time to read her story and consideration!
Blessings to All
Sincerely,
Children of Elaine Hopkins
