Hello!!!
We are the Bryant Family!Kenneth, Khandy, Peyton, Marley and Brooklyn (Marley and Brooklyn are our fur babies!!)
Kenneth and I have been Married for 9 beautiful years(almost 10) and they have been filled with so much love and joy but nothing can compare to the joy experienced when we welcomed our beautiful daughter into the world on Christmas Day 2018 via Adoption.
Kenny is an Active Duty Marine and has served his country faithfully for more than 10yrs. Any military spouse can relate to me when I say, it's difficult to be the wife of a service member. It can be even harder when you as as couple are experiencing personal difficulties and are forced to spend days, weeks even months apart.
I had surgery alone to diagnose my stage 5 Endometriosis while Kenny was deployed in Afghanistan. That diagnosis lead to years of test, hurt, stress, suffering. We have tried a variety of fertility treatments, unfortunately failing with each attempt.
Despite the time apart, Kenny and I remained strong in the fact that we would become parents. In 2018 we were so fortunate to be able work with an amazing adoption agency and they helped us to become parents!!!
So much has changed since the birth of our daughter. Peyton was born at 28wks, weighing only 2lbs 8oz and spent almost 2 months in the NICU. Upon her discharge from the hospital, we decided it would be most beneficial to Peyton if I remain at home rather than place her in a daycare. It's been the best decision ever, allowing me to nurture to the greatest extent possible!
Now that Peyton will be 2 years old in less than 2 months, we would love to be able to adopt again! We are now a one income household and the numerous fertility treatments and previous Adoption process has our family in a much different financial situation than when we first embarked on our adoption journey.
We know we have so much more love to give and would love the opportunity to continue to grow our family with a sibling (or two) for Peyton.
Having previous adoption experience, we understand that adoption can be a lengthly financial, and emotional process. Our goal is to sign with our previous adoption agency before the end of the year (2020) because being an active duty military family we have to be prepared for anything and Kenny may receive new duty orders this upcoming summer.
Funding will assist with the agency fees associated with adoption and birth-mom matching, home study & legal fees.
We truly appreciate your help, support and the love being extended to our family. We are overly grateful and cannot wait to celebrate the blessings of our family with you throughout this adoption journey.
