Last year, you helped us do something amazing - see video: we donated a professional-grade marathon-adapted wheelchair to a beautiful young girl named Salma. Together, we gave Salma and her family the freedom to create their own memories, honor EK’s legacy, and become part of this unstoppable movement.

Presenting Salma’s chair—just days before the race—was unforgettable. Her joy, her family’s gratitude, and the words of her care team reminded us: this is so much more than a run. It’s about breaking barriers, raising visibility, and opening up life-changing possibilities for children and families touched by disability.

Now, EK’s Run #5 is here - the tradition continues—for the fifth year in a row, EK’s Run is heading back to the streets of Miami for the 2026 Life Time Miami Marathon! And this year we’re rallying to help another child and their family chase their dream, just like EK and Salma did. Here’s what we’re running for:
