EK9 resurrection

Where to start.

Some know me as Nashville. Some as Rich, Richie, Richard or Dick. It all depends on how long you’ve known me.

For those that don’t know I’m into cars; Hondas specifically from the 90’s-2000’s era. Half of the reason I put so much work stress on my self is to fulfill this hobby.

I’ve always wanted a genuine EK9. THE original Honda civic Type R only offered in Japan. Being that I live in the United States, we have to wait 25 years to import one legally. I’ve always wanted one. Never wanted a white one as they were a little more common. Finally I’m at a point in my life where I can afford the rare car. Finally!

I started the process of importing this vehicle January 6th 2023. After combing the internet I finally found it! With the help of a few companies and several thousands of dollars spent- it made its way across the other side of planet earth. The Honda arrived at the port June 3rd 2023. Almost 6 months later it’s here!

I spent roughly 6 weeks perfecting it and brining to back to life with brand new (now discontinued) OEM Honda parts. Late nights and every day off was spent in the garage sacrificing any social life.

on august 8th I was driving home from a haircut, when an unlicensed, uninsured driver decided he didn’t want to stop at a red light and rammed his work van into my beloved vehicle.

We all know how insurance works. They are in the business to make money, not hand it out. I am not one to ask for help- ever.

I need help. I am starting this go fund me, to ask help from the community for enough funds to get the car back on the road. Any- and all donations will help immensely.
