Metro Police Eagle Scout Project
My name is Gabriel Heath; and I am striving to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. I wanted my project to support local law enforcement in some way; and, with the assistance of my Scout Leaders, I contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (Metro).
Metro was kind enough to let me visit the John T. Moran Firearms Facility; and I noticed that there was a large wooden storage locker (see attached picture) that clearly needed to be replaced. It has eleven large storage areas, with damaged or missing doors, and the overall structure is twenty-five feet long!
I want to build a replacement locker as my Eagle Scout Project.
Any amount that you can donate would be greatly appreciated; and any extra funds I receive will be donated directly to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation.
Due to the current social climate, I think that it is vitally important to support law enforcement in any way possible.
