Dee was recently diagnosed with Uterine Cancer and underwent surgery on 4/29. She had a full hysterectomy and two lymph nodes removed.

Her health insurance has a large out-of-pocket deductible. On top of that, she is responsible for 50% of all medical bills and future treatment.

Dee is a single mom of two amazing children, Hailey and Christopher. The past few years have been financially challenging for Dee due to two other recent surgeries and a long drawn out court case that requires her ex to pay child support & other expenses.

Dee Mayer has been teaching at American Heritage school for 16 years. She loves spending the days with her 18 kindergartners and finds great joy in remembering all the children she’s taught over the years. Dee always gives her students all that she can to be successful and feel loved!

Dee’s faith has helped her bravely confront cancer with peace in her heart. We are hoping people donate to help Dee during this difficult season of her life.
